It it looking like a snowpocalypse outside your house? If so, don’t be bummed about being stuck inside. Instead, head on out and have some fun in the snow! If you’re new to snow fun, here are some fun things you can do in the snow:

1. Sledding. You can’t go wrong with this winter past time. Don’t have a sled? No problem! Just take a big piece of cardboard and put a trash bag around it to make an instant sled. Just be sure to not slide out into any roadways!

2. Snow angels. Fun for kids of all ages! Just fall back in the snow and make some angels – but be careful if the snow is real deep. No need to turn yourself into a real angel this winter! And keep in mind that this will get snow all over your body, which can make your clothes wet and cold. Brr!

3. Build A Snowman. If you have snow outside that is good for packing, why not make your own snowman.

4. Snowball Fight. While you’re packing snow, take a break for an impromptu snowball fight. If you have a lot of friends or family, break up into teams for a super sized snowball fight.

5. Make Snow Cream. Need a cold and tasty snack? Got clean snow? Then get started! You need 4 to 5 cups of clean, fresh unpacked snow, 1 cup of milk, ½ cup of sugar, and ½ teaspoon of vanilla. Stir everything but the snow together. When you see that the sugar has dissolved, slowly mix in the snow and wait for it to thicken.
